Portrait Painting Commission (50% deposit)

A traditional painted portrait, focused on a single subject's portrait from the shoulders up.

This is a non-refundable 50% deposit that goes toward the full price of the portrait painting size of your choice. The remaining 50% of the investment will be due upon painting completion. For more about the portrait commission process, see this page.

Portrait Painting Investment (Single Subject):

8x10" Painting: $880 *paid in 2 deposits of $440

9x12" Painting: $1100 *paid in 2 deposits of $550

11x14" Painting: $1500 *paid in 2 deposits of $750

14x17" Painting: $2000 *paid in 2 deposits of $1000

16x20" Painting: $2500 *paid in 2 deposits of $1250

Interested in a portrait with 2 or more subjects in it? Additional subjects can be added for an additional 75% of the cost of the size chosen. Ex: a 9x12" painting with 2 subjects would be $1100 + $820 for a total of $1920. You can shoot me an email before or after purchasing your reservation and I can customize your invoice for you.

All portrait paintings are unframed, done in oil paint on panel or canvas, sealed with an archival varnish, and carefully packaged then shipped to you. Shipping within the USA is included in the total cost.

After purchasing, you will receive an email from me so we can discuss more details about your piece! 

• This deposit is non-refundable and guarantees your spot on my commission list. The remaining painting cost will be billed to you before I ship the finished painting.
• If you do not like your final painting for any reason, you may refuse the painting and your deposit can be used as credit in my shop toward another fine art purchase. 
• The timeline for a commissioned painting is typically 6-8 weeks depending on schedule. Once we have discussed your commission I will send you an estimated date for completion.
• I will do my best to accommodate you if you would like to receive this painting in time for a specific date or holiday, but I cannot guarantee it. Please email me to inquire ahead of purchasing the listing if you need a certain date!
